Cement Plant, Baku

Project consulting:

In May 2011 INPROCON was commissioned with project management for the construction of a cement factory in Baku, Azerbaijan, to support the independent determination of construction progress and create a current schedule, coordinate and review the schedule with construction management and to look ahead to the completion dates.

The project was concluded by INPROCON. The results of the project evaluation were compiled in a report and were made available to project management.

The project in Baku, Azerbaijan encompasses – in the course of expanding the existing cement plant – construction of a new cement factory, including incorporation of an additional limestone quarry with railway connection for transporting raw materials, construction of a modern clinker production plant (4,000 t/day) using the dry sintering method, construction of a new clinker silo and upgrading the existing cement milling plant.
