Qatar 2022 Showcase, Doha

In February 2010 INPROCON was commissioned for the “Qatar 2022 Showcase” project in Doha, Qatar, to assume the following tasks: project management, planning coordination, review of the quotation costing, preparation of the order costing and budget control as well as purchasing.

The project was concluded by INPROCON. The results and elaborations were made available to the client.

Project:

The project encompasses the planning and construction of a showcase football stadium in LEED design in Doha, Qatar. The stadium is fully functional and has a very high level of technical building equipment with solar and photovoltaic technology. The field size is configured for five-a-side football. The stadium includes 500 seats and air conditioning for spectators and the field of play (max. 28°C field of play temperature with far higher outside temperatures of up to 48°C). The closed outer shell consists of ETFE foil cushions with sliding roof as well as a mobile facade section.
