Hydroelectric Power Plant Gilgel Gibe

Project consulting:

In March 2007 INPROCON was commissioned with revising the outstanding claims and pursuing payments not yet made for the Gilgel Gibe HEP Lot 4 project in Ethiopia and bringing it to completion. INPROCON GmbH was also significantly involved in claims negotiations.

The claims negotiations were concluded in June 2007 with the agreement of all parties involved. INPROCON will provide support with the dissolution and liquidation of the project company over the coming years.

Project:

The project is located 260 km south-west of Addis Ababa at an elevation of approx. 1.400 m. It encompasses a rockfill dam of 39 m in height and 1,640 m in length as well as a hydroelectric power plant for generating 200 MW of electricity.
