BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi

Project consulting:

In June 2017, INPROCON was commissioned to support the site management team of BMW for the execution of the construction works for the new BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosí, Mexico. INPROCON was assigned with consulting services for project and site management, including civil, structural and architectural works as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.

Project:

In June 2016 the groundbreaking for the new BMW Group plant in city of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, took place. The start of production is scheduled for 2019. The annual production capacity shall amount up to 150,000 units. At least 1,500 new jobs will be created.

The total BMW site area amounts to approx. 3,000,000 m², the construction area to approx. 400,000m². Five main production buildings and 13 secondary buildings for services will be built. More than 350 parking spaces for trucks, 2,500 parking spaces for completed cars and  more than 2,000 parking spaces for employees are planned.
