Tunnel rehabilitation works, Oberstaufen

In June 2016, INPROCON was commissioned to support the tunnel rehabilitation in Oberstaufen, Germany with claim management.
The project is presently under execution.

The 160-year-old rail tunnel is located a few hundred metres to the east of the railway station “Oberstaufen” and crosses the “Staufner Berg”. As part of the rehabilitation works the tunnel is extended on both sides by up to 20 m, the tunnel cross section is increased and both tracks are renewed. Additionally, the 123 m long tunnel will be modernized with a new concrete inner shell. After the rehabilitation works trains will be able to pass through the tunnel with a maximum speed of 80 km/h instead of currently 40km/h.
