Waste to Energy Plant, Roskilde
Project consulting:
In July 2012, INPROCON was commissioned to support the waste incineration plant project “Roskilde Incineration Line 6” in Roskilde, Denmark, in the areas of contract management and structural steelwork engineering.
The project was completed on the part of INPROCON. The results and elaborations were handed over to the client.
Project:
The new incineration line (Line 6) was built on the site of an existing waste-to-energy incinerator/power plant in Roskilde, Denmark. The new plant generates additional capacity for district heat provision and completely replaces two old plants which had considerably lower output. The plant is designed for a gross heat value of approx. 81 MW and has a thermal utilization capacity of up to 30 tons of waste per hour. Line 6 was erected on a site measuring 150 m × 30 m and the building reaches a height of 46 m.
